How to Self‑Refund in Cheddar Flow
Give yourself a quick refund directly in the app—no back‑and‑forth needed.
Who can self‑refund
- Eligible charges: post‑trial charge, monthly plan renewal, or annual plan purchase/renewal.
- Time window: within 48 hours of the charge.
How to self‑refund (step‑by‑step)
- In the Cheddar Flow app, go to My Profile → Billing.
- Click Cancel subscription.
- (Optional) Fill out Reason for canceling.
- Select End subscription immediately and receive refund, then click Cancel subscription to confirm
That’s it—your subscription ends right away and the refund is initiated to your original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may take a few days to post the credit.
Refunds After 48 Hours
If your request falls outside the 48-hour window, you may still be eligible for a prorated refund based on unused time, subject to the following:
- A late refund fee of 20% of the plan price will be applied
- The remaining balance will be refunded based on unused time
Examples:
- Annual plan ($891):
- 20% fee = $178.20
- Remaining amount is prorated based on time not used
- Monthly Pro plan:
- A flat $30 late refund fee applies
Important notes
- 48‑hour limit: Self‑refunds are only available for 48 hours after the charge.
- Manual review: If your account requires manual review and it is found it violates our Terms of Service, a refund may be denied.
- Pro‑rated consideration: Past the 48‑hour window, contact us for a case‑by‑case prorated refund review.
- Accounts that have received a refund within the last 6 months are not eligible for additional refunds

Will I lose access right away?
Yes—choosing End subscription immediately and receive refund cancels your subscription immediately.
Where does the refund go?
Back to your original payment method. Posting times vary by bank.
Can I get a refund without canceling?
No. The self‑refund option refunds the latest charge and cancels the subscription at the same time.
